About Frank Block

Frank grew up in a small town garage where he was surrounded by excellent storytellers. The family owned Ford dealership in Daysland, Alberta became the “hot stove lounge” for all things hockey.

It was being in this environment that Frank developed his love for the game of hockey and his love for stories. Frank eventually moved away and started his own family where he would become the public address announcer for his son’s hockey teams. It didn’t take long for other hockey clubs to start hiring Frank to be their public address announcer including a year being the announcer for the Calgary Flames/Hitmen’s “Big League Experience.”

Frank eventually moved to Saskatchewan where he continued doing public address announcing for numerous hockey clubs as well as working in live radio for several years. One of Frank’s fondest memories of life in Saskatchewan was meeting retired NHLer Metro Prystai. Frank’s love of hockey and storytelling finally came together in getting to write Metro’s biography.

Frank continues to bring life to other people’s stories having narrated more than 400 titles now available on audible. Frank’s talent is now being sought for corporate e-learning projects and commercials as well. Click the link below to begin your discussion with Frank today.
